Niyam IT is seeking an experienced Product Architect to support a federal client. The role focuses on leading architectural design for scalable, secure, high‑performing solutions across multiple platforms.

The candidate will bridge business needs with technical delivery and provide hands-on leadership in an Agile environment. This hybrid position requires onsite presence 1–2 days per week at the client location in Ashburn, VA, with flexibility for remote work on other days.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in software architecture and cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on technical leadership across the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and evolve the product architecture to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Design and implement innovative technical solutions that address business requirements while promoting best practices in development, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions that balance business value, technical feasibility, and architectural standards.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, guiding solution design, implementation, integration, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Lead technical discussions and actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, demonstrations, retrospectives, and release planning.
• Serve as the technical lead during product demonstrations, communicating solution capabilities and technical decisions to product stakeholders.
