Job summary

Encova Insurance in Charleston, WV seeks a Product Actuarial Intern for Summer 2027. This full-time internship requires 40 hours per week and offers a hybrid schedule with in-office days each week. Must be enrolled with 60+ credits completed.

Pay is $22.00 per hour. You will assist with pricing, analytics, and profitability reporting, gaining exposure to large accounts and real-world projects within the Product Actuarial team.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled with at least 60 credit hours completed.
• Pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Validate large account pricing models for underwriters.
• Provide pricing indications on large accounts under guidance.
• Maintain and expand management reports and analytics.
• Field routine service and research requests.
