Job summary

FOX 17 WXMI in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a creative Producer to craft engaging local newscasts and multi-platform content. You will develop and organize stories, write compelling pieces, and collaborate with reporters, anchors, managers and editors to determine content needs.

You will enhance stories with graphics, video, research and branding; oversee live broadcasts, make editorial decisions during breaking news, perform desktop editing and present content across platforms.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Journalism, Communications or related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience
• Generally, 2+ years of experience in news production or related field preferred

Scripps Fox affiliate in Grand Rapids, is seeking a creative, motivated Producer who will craft engaging stories that connect with our community. This position offers a unique opportunity to produce content for multiple platforms.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Develop and organize engaging newscasts and local programs

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
