Job description

Overview

We are seeking a talented Producer/Class A Driver to lead event equipment transportation and setup. Responsibilities include moving equipment and trailers to event locations across local cities and states, managing all event set‑ups with assigned staff, and coordinating closely with the Account Manager to ensure seamless event logistics. The Driver also supports warehouse operations such as vehicle maintenance and care when not assigned to events.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the warehouse performing tasks including inventory, item allocation, vehicle maintenance, and related tasks.
• Perform pre‑trip inspections, identify and repair minor faults, and report major mechanical issues to a skilled mechanic.
• Maintain vehicle trip, fuel and IFTA logs as required by DOT.
• Maintain a logbook for miles covered and hours traveled and ensure all required freight documentation is filled and submitted.
• Transport equipment and trailers to event locations in various cities and states, ensuring timely arrival and setup.
• Manage end‑to‑end logistics for the event vehicle, including driving, staging, and set‑up/tear‑down.
• Manage display vehicle transportation and provide on‑site operational support.
• Provide set‑up/tear‑down support and guidance.
• Meet customer service expectations in communication, problem resolution, and follow‑through.
• Report any delays impacting delivery to the account manager and client.
• Report any accident incurred while transporting freight to the account manager immediately.
• Ensure events progress seamlessly by following established procedures, collaborating with Jr. Producers and Account Managers, and ensuring accuracy.
• Partner with Account Managers and Directors to align best practices, schedules, timelines, and assets for overarching deliverables.
• Adhere to all standards, policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as determined by the company.

Qualifications

• Class A license with all DOT requirements and a clean driving record.
• Complete a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
• Submit to Federal Pull Notices.
• Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks.
• Diagnose mechanical and technical issues.
• Have extensive knowledge of regional routes, enabling trip planning and optimal routing.
• Know road signs and safety procedures well.
• Reside in proximity to Long Beach Warehouse.
• Work overtime beyond a 40‑hour week when needed.
• Travel and be OTR up to 3 weeks (based on event schedules).
• Have a flexible schedule and be available to travel.

Physical Demands

• Stand, sit, walk, bend, crawl, climb, reach overhead, crouch, kneel, balance, push, pull and lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
• Sit for long periods while driving.
• Work indoors and outdoors in fluctuating temperatures.
• Work under adverse conditions (dirty, noisy, etc.).
• Work safely at heights using ladders, scaffolds, and related equipment.
