Job summary

Meijer in Grand Rapids is seeking a part-time Food Clerk to support our Fresh departments with a welcoming store experience. You will engage customers, share product knowledge, and help locate items while keeping displays fresh and appealing.

This role requires a friendly demeanor and the ability to work 16–30 hours per week, including weekend shifts and core days Wednesday–Saturday. Daily tasks include stocking, merchandising, and utilizing technology to complete tasks accurately.

• Support other store operations as needed

Responsible for delivering remarkable customer service by providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service and a friendly attitude; will be exposed to a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service and merchandising.

What You'll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You'll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
