• Maintain, fill, and rotate products in the produce department.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Prepare produce for display on the sales floor.
• Stock, price, rotate, and place produce according to standards.
• Maintain sanitation standards in the backroom and sales area.
• Water and ice down products; wash, trim, and wrap items.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by management.

Current Job Opportunities:

Position: Produce Team Member
Starting Rate: $19.55/hr

Responsibilities

• A Produce Clerk is responsible for preparing, packaging, and pricing all fresh vegetables and fruit.
• Maintain, fill, and rotate products in the produce department for quality, freshness, and proper dates.
• Sell safely and adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards to provide customers with the highest quality produce.
• Prepare produce for display on the sales floor.
• Maintain accurate department signage and pricing.
• Stock, price, rotate, and place product on produce displays according to DeCicco & Sons standards.
• Maintain sanitation standards in the backroom, cooler, and sales area.
• Water and ice down various products; wash, trim, and wrap products.
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management.
• Must be fluent in English.
