Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service in our Fresh departments. You will build connections with customers, assist with product selection, and maintain attractive displays while working across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.

This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficiency, with opportunities for early responsibilities and growth within a family-centered retailer. Previous retail experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Comfort learning and using job-specific technology.
• Attention to detail and ability to stay organized.
• Ability to follow processes and safety standards.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, standing) for extended periods.
