Responsibilities

• Promote Corporate Brands to customers.

• Gain and maintain knowledge of products and respond to questions with informed recommendations.
• Assist with preparing produce platters/trays.
• Inform customers of produce specials.
• Recommend items to meet customer needs and wants.
• Prepare, package, label and inventory merchandise.
• Inspect products for quality and freshness; take appropriate action.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report ordering/shipment discrepancies to the department manager.
• Display a positive attitude.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers; keep logs.
• Support safety programs and report unsafe conditions.
• Inspect equipment and request repairs as needed.
