Job summary

Sam’s Club, operated by Sam’s West, Inc., is seeking a Team Member for the Sanford, FL location to support the produce department. You will help ensure quality, freshness, and availability, while delivering exceptional member service and maintaining a clean, in-stock department.

You will work with cross-functional teams, learn product standards, and utilize handheld devices to support sales and inventory decisions. The role focuses on customer satisfaction and efficient store operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must successfully complete all required trainings and assessments for the position.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: maintain up-to-date product knowledge, assist across cross-functional teams and educate associates on tools and tasks, communicate effectively, and adapt to business needs.
• Be an Expert: understand quality standards for various produce items, prepare and package products per standards, ensure product safety and sanitation.
• Be a Techie: use handheld devices to drive sales and improve the shopping experience, learn new tools and encourage others to use them.
• Be an Owner: drive department performance, manage inventory, rotate stock, control waste, and assist customers per policy.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: promote high-quality service and products, energize the team and model commitment at work.
• Comply with company policies and ethics; follow Open Door Policy and implement related action plans.
• Complete tasks by using policies and data, coordinate with managers and coworkers, and adapt to feedback.
