Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. seeks a team member for the Produce Department to help stock, rotate, and display fresh fruits and vegetables while delivering exceptional member service. You will assist customers, maintain department standards, and support inventory and cleanliness in a fast-paced club environment.

The role requires knowledge of produce, adherence to safety guidelines, and a positive, collaborative attitude to ensure a welcoming shopping experience for members.

Qualifications

• Experience in a produce department preferred.
• Knowledge of fruit and vegetables preferred, including seasonal items.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to Members in the produce department. Answers questions, recommends products and safe handling tips, and assists Members with finding products throughout the club.
• Inspects, rotates, and stores produce upon delivery. Ensures that all received produce meets company standards.
• Rotates produce on the sales floor to ensure freshness and variety; keeps displays neat and stocked.
• Maintains the produce reserve stock area; dates and rotates back stock; keeps storage organized.
• Cleans and sanitizes all produce equipment and display areas; generates signage and ensures items are priced correctly.
