Job summary

Food Lion in Colonial Heights, VA is seeking a Produce/Perishable team member to provide quality customer service, maintain product freshness, and support store operations in the Produce Department. You will handle ordering, receiving, display, safety compliance, and use standard company tools such as ACIS and CAO to ensure accurate inventory and efficient service while upholding Food Lion's standards.

This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, teamwork, and friendly interactions with customers

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.

Responsibilities

Maintain fast, friendly, and accurate customer service in the Produce Department.
Unload trucks and ensure proper display, conditioning and ordering of merchandise.
Use ACIS and CAO for inventory and ordering needs.
Follow company guidelines, safety policies and standard practice.
Wear the Food Lion uniform with apron and name badge on duty.
Complete CBT, Training Packet and Training Aid courses.
Perform other duties as assigned.
