Job summary

Plum Market in Palm Beach Gardens, FL is seeking a Produce Shift Leader to support daily operations in the Produce Department. You will work with the Produce Team Manager and Assistant Manager to lead the department during shifts, ensure product freshness, merchandising standards, food safety, and outstanding Customer Service.

You will train and coach Team Members, maintain cleanliness and backstock, and collaborate with leadership to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Experience mentoring or training Team Members in a retail setting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support department operations during assigned shifts, ensuring consistency in Customer Service, presentation, and productivity.
• Train and mentor Team Members on product knowledge, rotation standards, merchandising, and closing procedures.
• Provide helpful, accurate, and friendly service to Customers throughout the Produce Department.
• Collaborate with department leadership to resolve operational issues and maintain execution standards.
• Monitor and uphold departmental cleanliness, organization, and backstock management.
• Communicate effectively with Team Members, Store Leadership, and Customers to support department goals.
• Ensure compliance with all Plum Market policies, food safety standards, and standard operating procedures.
