Job summary

Baldor is seeking a Produce Buyer to support daily replenishment, inbound coordination, supplier communication, and master data accuracy for the Bronx, NY area. This role focuses on keeping the produce category well-stocked and data-driven, setting the foundation for progression toward advanced merchandising roles.

The position emphasizes executional hygiene, digital shelf accuracy, and collaborative problem-solving, with opportunities for growth into Merchant II and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in merchandising, planning or replenishment.
• Strong organizational skills and data comfort.
• Willingness to learn digital merchandising and category management principles.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily replenishment for assigned items, including passings and order validation.
• Manage inbound coordination with suppliers and logistics.
• Maintain high-quality master data, including attributes and SKUs.
• Monitor OOS/DOH, shrink, and perform root cause analyses.
• Support supplier communications and data-driven reviews.
• Assist with introductory exposure to category strategy.
