Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace in Troy, MI is seeking an Assistant Produce Prep Manager to oversee the Produce Prep Department and help drive operational excellence. You will direct daily department functions, ensure product quality, manage stocking, training and schedules, and collaborate with Produce Managers to meet sales, service and fresh-produce goals.

This hourly role offers 45–50 hours per week with comprehensive benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k)

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work early mornings, nights and weekends.
• Experience with stocking, rotation, and customer service preferred.
• Knowledge of knives and food service operations is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Direct and supervise all department functions to meet sales, gross profit and service goals.
• Cut, chop and prepare all produce items per company standards.
• Coordinate activities in production, stocking, merchandising and distribution with Produce Managers.
• Oversee training, scheduling, attendance and policy adherence in the department.
• Assist in interviewing and developing associates for Produce and Produce Prep.
• Ensure quality standards and proper inventory control for freshness and turnover.
• Greet customers and deliver prompt, courteous service.
