Job summary

Mother's Market seeks a Produce Manager to oversee daily operations of the produce department, ensuring freshness, quality, and exceptional customer service. You will lead a team, manage inventory, and contribute to store-wide success.

Responsibilities include training staff, scheduling, maintaining product displays, monitoring shrink, and upholding safety and cleanliness standards in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail produce and strong customer service skills.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Verbal proficiency in English.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 70 pounds, and work in varying temperatures.

• Ensure quality standards: Monitor product freshness, remove spoilage, maintain cleanliness.

• Enhance merchandising: Create attractive produce displays and execute product placement strategies.
• Take initiative: Step into staff roles as needed, including opening, closing, and covering shifts.

Pay Range

$24.00 hourly up to $75,000.00 annually

What You'll Do

What You Bring

Experience & Skills:

• Prior experience in retail produce and strong customer service techniques.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Verbal proficiency in English.
• Ability to stand for long periods, climb ladders, squat, bend, and lift/carry boxes up to 70 pounds.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures, including produce coolers and wet racks.

Schedule Requirements

Flexible availability across various shifts and locations including weekends and evenings
