Job summary

Saver Group in Bethel, CT is hiring a Produce Clerk to help wrap and stock fresh vegetables and fruits, assist customers, and keep the department clean and organized to company standards.

The role includes handling produce, assisting with ordering, monitoring shelving and pricing, and performing monthly inventory counts while maintaining safety and quality across the store.

Qualifications

• Lift product up to 50 lbs.
• Customer service orientation, friendly personality.
• Experience in wrapping & cutting produce, rotating product, culling the department.
• Ability to get to work at assigned starting times & complete assigned shifts.

Responsibilities

• Consistently meets or exceeds set standards involving the handling, stocking, wrapping of product, cutting, culling, ordering and the maintenance of the produce department.
• Cleans and sanitizes the produce department - including but not limited to coolers, cases, knives, tables, and floors.
• Ensure proper retails, billing, and costs.
• Monitor shrink.
• Conduct monthly inventory counts.

Job Summary
