Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a dependable team member for the Produce and Floral departments to maintain stock levels, ensure product freshness, and uphold quality standards. You'll operate pallet jacks, rotate stock, assist customers, and participate in safety and sanitation procedures in a fast-paced retail setting.

Applicants must be 18+ and hold a Food Handler certification; prior grocery experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Food Handler certification is required.
• Applicants must be 18+ to work in this role.
• Ability to operate pallet jack and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full stock conditions in produce and floral displays.
• Operate pallet jack to unload and reload merchandise.
• Ensure dated product is rotated or discarded as needed.
• Inspect product quality and supervise food safety standards.
• Assist customers with questions and price checks.
• Promote sales through suggestive selling techniques.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Keep work and shopping areas clean and sanitary.
