Job summary

Big Y Foods, Inc. is seeking a Produce/Floral Clerk in Westport, CT to deliver an exceptional customer experience by preparing and ensuring the freshest quality produce and floral items. You will stock, display, and serve products while upholding food safety standards and maintaining a clean department.

You will assist customers with product knowledge, answer inquiries, and support the store's culture of caring. A flexible schedule and 18+ age requirement apply.

Job description

Location:WESTPORT,CT(1076 Post Road East)

The Produce/Floral Clerk is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience by preparing and ensuring the freshest quality product. The Produce/Floral Clerk maintains department conditions, to include preparing, stocking and serving produce and floral products. They also maintain food safety standards and cleanliness in the produce/floral area and handle customer inquiries while providing product knowledge and expertise.

• Willingness to cross train and learn other areas as needed.

• Must be 18 years of age to operate machinery (refer to minor guidelines where appropriate) .
