Job summary

Kroger in Omaha, NE is seeking a friendly, customer-focused team member to join our grocery department. You will deliver outstanding service, help customers find products, and support the department manager in achieving sales and quality standards.

Daily duties include answering questions, stocking and labeling items, preparing produce platters, maintaining safe temperatures, following safety policies, and working cooperatively with teammates in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Current food handlers permit upon employment.
• Comparable retail experience is desirable.
• Second language (speaking, reading and/or writing) is a plus.
