Job summary

Sam's Club in Springdale, OH is hiring a Produce Department Lead to supervise the Produce and Floral team, drive sales, and deliver value to members.

You will partner with other team leaders to execute the business plan, maintain quality standards, manage inventory and safety, and use handheld technology to improve operations and the shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: 6 months experience working in a fresh production department or 6 months experience supervising a team.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Preferred Qualifications: Supervising a team; Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).

Responsibilities

• Lead the Produce and Floral team to deliver on the business plan and meet members' expectations.
• Communicate goals and implement company programs while upholding policies and ensuring member, associate, and company needs are met.
• Ensure knowledge of floor and backroom operations, quality, inventory, sanitation, and safety; manage seasonality and training.
