Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Food Clerk in Michigan to deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer service in the Fresh departments. You will help customers find items, share product knowledge, and maintain clean, inviting displays.

Responsibilities include stocking and rotating products, working across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery, and using store technology to complete tasks correctly while following safety and quality standards.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and wellrun store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures

• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
