Job summary

Los Altos Ranch Markets is seeking a friendly Produce Clerk to join our team in California. You will ensure the produce department is well maintained, help customers locate items, and keep shelves stocked and clean. Your positive energy and teamwork will support store goals and community service.

As a Produce Clerk, you will greet customers, provide product information, receive deliveries, rotate stock, and assist in other store areas as needed to meet store needs.

• Customer Service experience desirable.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Produce Clerk will be friendly and a team player. The individual will have to ensure that the produce area is well maintained and running efficiently. Additionally, the Produce Clerk will be the first point of contact with customers by providing them with information on their produce.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK CONDITIONS:

The physical demands and work conditions below represent those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Some requirements may be modified to accommodate individuals with disabilities:

• WALKING: Continuously, throughout the day, while moving about the store and obtaining product from the warehouse;
• STANDING: Continuously, throughout the shift while stocking product;
• LIFTING: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
