Job summary

Festival Foods in Kimberly, WI is seeking a Produce Clerk II to maintain stock in the produce department, provide exceptional service to guests, and uphold quality, freshness, and safety standards. You will report to the Produce Department Manager and handle stocking, product rotation, temperature logging, cooler maintenance, and occasional ordering.

Regular attendance, safety awareness, and a positive team attitude are required.

Job Title: Produce Clerk II

Reports To: Produce Department Manager

Maintains stock levels in the produce department by replenishing products as needed. Execute the boomerang theory by providing exceptional service to all guests.

Produce Associates provide a high standard of care to quality, nutritious fruits and vegetables to ensure they are fresh & delicious for the families within our communities.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Provides customer service to guests

• Assist guests with finding items they are looking for on or off the sales floor
• Takes orders and other special requests
• Answers the telephone and assists callers using proper phone etiquette
• Addresses guest concerns and resolves issues when a guest is not satisfied with the service or product received, if in need further assistance, bring concern to the Produce Department Manager

2) Stocking and maintaining product levels

• Fill all items on display
• Makes sure products are rotated, using first in first out method
• Follow display standards
• Makes sure the sales floor is clean and tidy; no messes or spills
• Maintaining Produce supplies (i.e. roll bags, twist ties, etc.)

3) Log Sheets

• Take temperatures of everything regularly
• Fill out rotation sheets daily
• Record shrink daily

4) Maintain Produce Cooler

• Rotation of items within the cooler, first in-first out method
• Keeping the cooler clean and organized at all times

5) Product Order

• Responsible for ordering some product (i.e. dips, spices, herbs, etc.)

Other duties as assigned.
