Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Produce Clerk to stock, merchandize, and present fresh produce while delivering outstanding customer service. You will help with inventory, pricing accuracy, and answering customer questions in a fast-paced store environment.

Ideal candidates are at least 16, reliable, with strong communication and teamwork skills, ready to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Dependable with ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Maintain a respectful attitude and ethical behavior within Sprouts culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Positive attitude with ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication skills; able to take direction and work in a team.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. with minimal assistance.
• Able to walk up to 5 miles in an 8 hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Stock and merchandise the Produce department as per department schematics and ensure pricing accuracy.
• Handle inventory to maximize freshness and availability and answer customer questions.
• Provide high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist with proper rotation and stocking of merchandise in the Produce Department.
