Job summary

Queen’s Price Chopper is seeking a Produce Clerk to deliver excellent customer service, gain product knowledge, rotate stock, and merchandise effectively. The role emphasizes safe, clean conditions and active participation in loss prevention.

The position requires ability to work in a cold environment, carry out duties as assigned, and maintain high standards of customer interaction. Experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Proven customer service and communication skills preferred.
• Familiarity with merchandising and product rotation recommended.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety practices.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Observe all store rules and company policies.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Know seasonality, use and taste of products offered.
• Rotate and merchandise products to optimize sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation per health regulations.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
