Job summary

WinCo Foods is seeking a dedicated team member to maintain department standards and provide friendly customer service. You will ensure product quality, assist in stocking, and support store operations while working varied shifts between early morning and late evening.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, ability to stand for long periods, and a commitment to safe food handling. Food Handlers Certification is required by state law where applicable, and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills (add/subtract/measure) for handling weights and prices.
• Able to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read and understand written material.
• Communicate effectively in writing with coworkers and customers.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Operate or be trained to operate hand trucks and pallet jacks.
• Stand long periods and perform physical tasks safely.
• Proficient manual dexterity for cutting, packing and stocking.
• Food Handlers Certification as required by state law.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers with a friendly, service-oriented approach.
• Ensure quality and proper merchandising of products and stock.
• Perform receiving duties and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness and curb appeal of the work area and store floor.
• Rotate stock and manage freshness to minimize spoilage.
• Adhere to safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
