Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency degree.
• Preferred 1 -2 years grocery retail experience in Floral department processes and procedures.
• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keeps the produce department, floral area, storage area, and work areas clean and safe.
• Stocks and rotates produce, ensures pricing accuracy, and maintains product facing.
• Assists customers with purchases and information, cross-sells products.
• Receives and logs products for temperature and quality checks.
• Monitors POS signs and displays recipe cards, coupons, and promotional material.
• Operates standard equipment like knives, scales, wrappers, and hand trucks.
• Participates in pre-inventory prep and back stock management.
• Leads the cut fruit and vegetable program.
• Supports sales and profitability goals and maintains product knowledge.
• Maintains tidy, organized, and sanitary department appearance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

High school diploma or equivalency degree

1-2 years grocery retail experience in Floral department processes and procedures

Experience in natural foods industry (nice to have)
