Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to support Fresh departments with a friendly, customer-first approach. You will assist customers, share product knowledge, stock and merchandise, and operate across Meat, Produce, Deli, Bakery, and Grocery areas.

Ideal candidates are comfortable using store technology, attentive to detail, and able to stay calm in a fast-paced environment. No prior retail or food service required, with paid training and benefits included.

• Create a fresh, welcoming store experience in Fresh departments.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
