• Promote Corporate Brands to customers.
• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create a welcoming environment and assist customers with product questions.
• Gain knowledge of products and respond to questions; suggest products.
• Assist with produce platters/trays and inform customers of produce specials.
• Recommend items to customers to meet their needs; ensure accurate labeling and inventory.
• Review products for quality and freshness; take appropriate action on unsatisfactory items.
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise; report discrepancies to the department manager.
• Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers and keep temperature logs.
• Follow safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions and notify management; participate in equipment maintenance.
