Job summary

Kroger is hiring at 3020 Wolf Rd, Westchester, IL, for a store role focused on delivering outstanding customer experience and a clean, safe environment. You will assist the department manager in achieving sales and profit goals while upholding quality standards and the Customer 1st strategy.

As a team member you will model the 3A’s of Friendly, promote corporate brands, help customers with questions, and maintain product knowledge, labeling, stock, and inventory while adhering to safety

Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Current food handlers permit once employed.

Responsibilities

• Model the 3A’s of Friendly and promote brand products.
• Assist and guide customers to find products.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and monitor temperatures.
• Assist with produce platters/trays.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Inspect products for quality and freshness and take action as needed.
• Report discrepancies to the department manager.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards and incidents.
