Job summary

Fiesta Mart Store 081 Conroe is hiring a Produce Clerk to assist customers, maintain fresh displays, and perform opening and closing duties in a fast-paced grocery environment.

You will work in Conroe, TX alongside Fiesta Mart and Chedraui USA teams, with opportunities for training and benefits. Bilingual Spanish/English is required, and the role involves lifting up to 60 pounds and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Ability to read and understand product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and simple instructions.
• Strong customer-service skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds and to remain on feet in a dynamic retail setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; retail experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selection and provide friendly service.
• Clean, replenish, and rotate perishable produce displays to maintain freshness.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up, unloading deliveries, and closing out the produce counter.
• Lift and move produce items up to 60 pounds, frequently lift up to 45 pounds and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
• Stand, bend, stoop, and kneel for prolonged periods in a fast-paced grocery environment.
• Apply written and verbal instructions to complete tasks safely and accurately.
