Job summary

Meijer Inc. is hiring a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service in our Fresh departments. You will engage with customers, share product details, and help locate items while keeping displays tidy and compliant with standards.

You will stock, rotate, and merchandise across departments, use store tech to complete tasks, and follow safety procedures to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers and a smooth store operation.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

Previous retail or food service experience is helpful, but not required.

You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
