Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver outstanding customer service in our Fresh departments. You’ll share product knowledge, help customers, and maintain attractive, compliant displays while rotating stock and supporting multiple departments in a fast-paced environment.

You will use technology to complete tasks accurately, follow safety procedures, and stay physically active during shifts. Prior retail or food service experience helps but isn’t required.

Responsibilities

• Create a fresh, welcoming, well‑run store experience in Fresh departments.

• Maintain full, fresh, visually appealing displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Cross‑department support in Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
