Job summary

Cardenas Markets LLC in Pittsburg, CA is seeking a friendly Produce Clerk to support the produce department and help customers with product information.

You will ensure the produce area is well maintained, stock and rotate items, assist with deliveries, and work as part of a collaborative team to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role may require standing and walking for long periods and lifting up to 75 lbs as needed to maintain shelves and assist customers.

Position Summary

The Produce Clerk will be friendly and a team player. The individual will have to ensure that the produce area is well maintained and running efficiently. Additionally, the Produce Clerk will be the first point of contact with customers by providing them with information on their produce.

Physical Demands And Work Conditions

WALKING: Continuously, throughout the day, while moving about the store and obtaining product from the warehouse;

STANDING: Continuously, throughout the shift while stocking product;

LIFTING: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
