Job summary

Cardenas Markets is hiring a Produce Clerk to keep the produce area well maintained and running efficiently. You will be the first point of contact for customers, providing information on produce and helping them find items.

The role emphasizes exceptional service, teamwork, and a willingness to support store operations across departments, including stocking and receiving deliveries. The position requires physical stamina for lifting up to 50–75 lbs and standing/walking throughout the shift.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Produce Clerk will be friendly and a team player. The individual will have to ensure that the produce area is well maintained and running efficiently. Additionally, the Produce Clerk will be the first point of contact with customers by providing them with information on their produce.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK CONDITIONS:

WALKING: Continuously, throughout the day, while moving about the store and obtaining product from the warehouse;

STANDING: Continuously, throughout the shift while stocking product;

LIFTING: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
