Job summary

Meijer in Oak Creek, Wisconsin is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver a fresh, welcoming, well-run store experience in our Fresh departments. You will build positive connections with customers, share product knowledge, and keep displays full, fresh, and visually appealing.

This part-time role operates mainly in the evening and requires strong customer service, the ability to learn store technology, and the physical stamina to stand and lift.

This is a part-time role that primarily operates during the evening, so evening availability is required. In this position, you will be exposed to a variety of retail tasks related to product support, customer service, and merchandising. Responsible for delivering remarkable customer service by providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude.

What You'll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You'll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
