Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, efficient service and strong product knowledge across the Fresh departments. You will help customers, stock and rotate displays, and use store technology to complete tasks accurately.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining food safety and quality procedures while supporting multiple departments to keep the store running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments. You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
