Job summary

Meijer Inc. seeks a Food Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service, share product knowledge, and maintain fresh, attractive displays across multiple departments. You will stock, rotate, and merchandise items while using store technology to complete tasks accurately.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, staying organized, following safety procedures, and assisting customers to ensure a positive shopping experience. This role emphasizes teamwork and adaptability in a retail setting.

• Follow food safety, sanitation and quality procedures.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates

• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards

• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures

• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery

• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
