Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver remarkable customer service in our Fresh departments, helping customers find what they need and keeping displays fresh and appealing.

You will stock, rotate, and merchandise products, use technology to complete tasks, and follow food safety and quality procedures in a fast-paced store environment. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
