Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and assist with their needs.
• Review merchandise status for freshness and rotate stock.
• Maintain adequate product supply and prepare replenishments.
• Check in product, store it properly, and review invoices as needed.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish products as necessary.
• Keep the area clean, safe, and sanitized at all times.
• Remove trash and assist with department upkeep.
• Order products and supplies; price products for customers as needed.
• Answer phones and provide friendly service to callers.
• Follow Hy-Vee dress code and department guidelines.
• Assist with special tasks or projects as required.

You'll work in the produce department and can expect frequent exposure to temperature extremes and dampness, as well as possible equipment movement hazards, electrical equipment, and cleaning chemicals and solvents.
