Job summary

Baker's is seeking a customer-focused retail associate to deliver outstanding service and keep produce and department areas clean and well-stocked. You will assist in achieving department sales goals, promote brand products, and help customers with product selection and questions.

Responsibilities include maintaining safe store conditions, handling inventory, and supporting produce displays while upholding company values of respect, integrity, and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are required.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction) is needed.
• Current food handlers permit expected upon employment.

• Practice preventive maintenance by properly inspecting equipment and notify appropriate department or store manager of any items in need of repair
• Notify management of customer or employee accidents
• Report all safety risks or issues, and illegal activity, including: robbery, theft or fraud to store management
• Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment
• Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner
• Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
