Boise Co-Op is seeking a Produce Associate to maintain a fresh, attractive produce department and assist customers with product knowledge. You’ll stock, rotate, merchandize, and ensure accurate pricing while delivering high-quality shopping experiences.

Ideal candidates are organized, reliable, and team-oriented, with strong communication skills and basic computer literacy. Early mornings, evenings, weekends, and varied shifts are required.

Responsabilités

• Maintain department appearance and product quality through receiving, rotation, culling, cleaning, and stocking.
• Build and maintain visually appealing, well-merchandised displays.
• Monitor signage to ensure accurate pricing and product information.
• Reduce shrink by reporting damaged or spoiled products and using ripe produce for Value-Added programs when appropriate.
• Maintain product freshness by following established handling and rotation procedures.
• Develop a working knowledge of produce including seasonality, organic vs. conventional varieties, and ripeness standards.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service by assisting customers and answering product-related questions.
• Keep department areas clean, organized, and free of hazards; promptly report unsafe conditions.
• Collaborate with coworkers and leadership to meet department goals and maintain efficient workflow.
