• Keeps produce department well stocked and appealing to meet customer demands.
• Smiles and greets customers; answers questions; handles requests and resolves concerns professionally.
• Unpacks cartons, trims produce, rotates stock to ensure freshness, and maintains signage.
• Maintains pricing signage and cleans salad bar and fruit displays as needed.
• Assists in building attractive displays and logs product information; handles damaged items per policy.
• Ensures department sanitation and health/OSHA compliance; disposes of trash properly.
• Minimizes shrink; reports shortages and overages to management.
• May assist with receiving/unloading deliveries using a pallet jack when trained.
• May assist in other departments when needed; PPE used as required.
