Foodtown in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Produce Department Associate for Pathmark. You will sort, display, and replenish fresh fruits and vegetables while assisting customers with product knowledge and safe handling tips.

Responsibilities include rotating stock, keeping displays neat, and maintaining department standards. Weekend availability is required; this is a full-time role with hourly pay ranging from $15.00 to $17.00.

Competenze

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Work experience in a produce department preferred.
• Knowledge of fruit and vegetables preferred, including seasonal items.
• Ability to read, write, speak English fluently.
• Ability to stand, lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Weekend availability is required.

• Provide assistance to other associates in the department.
• Answer questions and help customers find products.
• Inspect, rotate, and store merchandise on delivery.
• Rotate produce on the floor and keep areas stocked.
• Keep displays neat and organized; remove unsellable items.
• Maintain back stock area; date and rotate items daily.
• Clean and sanitize department equipment and fixtures.
• Generate signage and perform price checks when needed.
• Ensure items are priced and labeled correctly.
• Perform other duties, including working in other departments.
