Job summary

WinCo Foods in Spokane, WA is hiring to support our 24/7 grocery operation. The role focuses on maintaining department conditions, providing friendly service, and ensuring product quality and selection.

Shifts run roughly 6–8 hours, with hours starting early morning to late evening to cover a 24/7 schedule. Responsibilities include engaging customers, assisting with item location and returns, handling receiving duties, maintaining stock and presentation, and upholding cleanliness and safety

Qualifications

Performing basic math (add, subtract, multiply) and compute weights and measures.
Ability to work varied shifts in a 24/7 operation, including night, weekends and holidays.
Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
Must be 16 years of age or older.
Food Handlers Certification (per state laws) required.

Responsibilities

Welcomes, engages, serves and thanks customers with friendly, enthusiastic service.
Address customer concerns promptly, including item replacements or returns.
Perform receiving duties, verify orders against invoices, and assist with accurate billing.
Maintain produce freshness, rotate stock, and ensure proper merchandising and pricing.
Keep work areas clean, safe, and well-organized; operate listed equipment safely.
