Job summary

Healthy Choice Wellness Corp is seeking a Produce Associate to maintain a vibrant, fresh produce department reflecting our commitment to organic and natural foods. You will handle fruits and vegetables, assist customers, and ensure cleanliness, presentation, and food safety standards are met.

Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, rotating stock, preparing display items, creating attractive displays, and supporting inventory counts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in grocery, produce, or retail is a plus but not required.
• Interest in organic foods, sustainability, and healthy living.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Friendly, approachable demeanor with good customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming produce deliveries, ensuring quality and freshness standards are met.
• Rotate stock regularly using FIFO (first in, first out) practices to minimize waste.
• Trim, wash, and prepare produce for display while maintaining organic integrity.
• Create attractive, well-organized displays that highlight seasonal and local items.
• Monitor product quality throughout the day and remove any damaged or spoiled items.
• Maintain accurate signage, including pricing, origin, and organic certification information.
• Assist customers with product selection, storage tips, and basic preparation suggestions.
• Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work and display areas.
• Support inventory counts and communicate low-stock items to management.
• Follow all food safety and workplace safety guidelines.
