What you’ll do
- Be a Team Member: Maintains up‑to‑date knowledge of the products; collaborates with cross‑functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicates effectively and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service; and is flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas, track goods, maintain in‑stock levels, and control shrinkage in a timely manner.
- Be an Expert: Understands the processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce merchandise (for example, taste, preparation method or use, seasonality); prepares (trims, crisps, packages, scales) products according to established standards; maintains product safety and follows company sanitation guidelines; and adheres to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality.
- Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
- Be an Owner: Drives the performance of the area; utilizes digital tools; uses perpetual inventory management techniques to stock and rotate department products; ensures quality and date control standards; eliminates waste; guides peers and provides attention to customer needs; assists customers according to company policies and procedures.

Compensation
The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired
