Job summary

Heinen’s is seeking a Retail Professional to support the Produce department and uphold the Heinen’s Diamond Difference standards. You will prioritize daily tasks, ensure product knowledge, and help create appealing displays while serving customers with a positive attitude.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, operating in cool temperatures, and flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed. Join a team-focused environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs.
• Acquire and share knowledge of produce.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and associates.
• Cull department for quality control, scans and records shrink.
• Take and fill special orders for customers.
• Put away orders.
• Plan attractive produce displays using color and texture.
• Order product.
• Pull shrink daily.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products within the department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Possess the ability to work in temperatures ranging from 0 to 50 degrees.
• Must be willing to work the number of hours required to meet company objectives, with the understanding that occasionally business needs will require additional time.
• Must be willing to work the non-traditional five-day work schedule, including Saturday, Sunday and evenings.
