Job summary

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years in high-volume manufacturing, preferably optical/electronics.
  • Able to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
  • Proficient with precision hand tools and measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex assembly, test, and troubleshooting operations on optical and electronic components and sub-assemblies according to established procedures and specifications.
  • Operate and maintain production equipment, including automated and semi-automated machinery, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
  • Conduct in-process inspections and tests, recording data accurately and identifying and resolving discrepancies or defects.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to identify root causes of production issues, implement corrective actions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Document all work performed, including test results, rework, and equipment maintenance, in accordance with quality system requirements.
  • Train and mentor less experienced production technicians on processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Participate in lean manufacturing activities and initiatives to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Electronics, Optics, Manufacturing Technology) preferred.* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably in the optical, semiconductor, or electronics industry.* Proven ability to read and interpret complex schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.* Demonstrated experience with precision hand tools, measurement equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, power meters), and automated test equipment.* Strong troubleshooting skills with a systematic approach to problem-solving.* Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail for delicate assembly and handling of components.* Proficient computer skills, including experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES) and Microsoft Office Suite.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production setting.* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods.* Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as required.Pay Range:N30-USA-1 :$25.55 - $31.95Disclaimer:Final base salary for the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job location, where work will be performed, qualifications, work history and relevant experience.
