Job summary

Sumaria Systems seeks a Journeyman Procurement Technician to support the MQ-9 program at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. This part-time role requires a Secret clearance and focuses on procurement and contract administration, with emphasis on accurate acquisition records and milestone tracking.

You will work closely with Government contracting personnel and program teams to prepare and maintain contracts, modifications, and related documentation, while coordinating reporting and audits in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience, including 3 years supporting DoD.
• Or at least 15 years of directly related experience, including 5 years supporting DoD, with applicable certifications.
• Knowledge of procurement and contract administration procedures in a Government acquisition environment.
• Ability to support preparation, processing, distribution, and maintenance of contracts, modifications, and related documentation.
• Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, and AFFARS requirements applicable to assigned duties.
• Experience maintaining procurement records, tracking milestones, and compiling contracting reports.
• Ability to collect and organize documentation for audits, reporting requests, and contract closeout.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn Government contracting systems and databases.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently, resolve routine issues, and coordinate effectively with Government contracting and program personnel.

Job Description

Sumaria Systems is seeking a Journeyman Procurement Technician supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Medium Altitude Unmanned Aircraft Systems (MAUAS) Division. This position provides procurement and contract administration support for the MQ-9 program, assisting Government contracting personnel with contract documentation, reporting, milestone tracking, and closeout activities.

This is a part-time position located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, requiring a Secret clearance.

Working closely with the Government Contracting Officer and program team, you will help prepare and maintain accurate acquisition records, coordinate contracting actions, and support timely completion of procurement activities.

• Provide administrative support to the Government Contracting Officer in preparing contracts and contract modifications.

• Perform assigned duties in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AFFARS), and applicable procedures.
• Use Government-designated contract writing, procurement reporting, and document management systems, learning additional applications as required.

Required Skills/Education
